Help using Coles online
Ordering your groceries online can be a bit daunting so we’ve put together this guide to help you speed through your order.
Frequently asked questions
Is Coles online available in my area?
The easiest way to check is to sign up for an account and enter your address. Once your account has been created, the website will tell you which services are available in your area.
How much does delivery cost?
Your first delivery is FREE when you spend over $100! Following deliveries can cost between $4 and $18 dollars depending on the time of day and length of the window. Longer windows are cheaper if you can be flexible with your delivery time. If you spend over $150 and select an 8 hour window your delivery will be FREE any day of the week.
Do I need to be home for delivery?
For standard home delivery, all orders are delivered in our refrigerated vans but you will need to be at home to accept delivery. If you are ordering alcohol or tobacco, someone over 18 will need to be home to accept the delivery.
For Drop&Go delivery, you do not need to be home for delivery. Refer to the Drop&Go information page for more information on this delivery service.
Are the prices the same as in store?
The prices on our website might not be the same as prices in your local Coles supermarket or Liquorland store. While we offer most Coles Supermarkets catalogue specials online, not all specials are available.
When you shop at Coles online for the first time, we’ll display the national price of a product until you tell us where you’re shopping, after which time we’ll display your local price.
How do I choose between pickup and delivery? Where can I collect my order?
Any time during your shop you can select the ‘Choose a delivery time’ menu option to either choose a delivery or Click&Collect time and location that suits you. You will need to have signed up so we can show you what is available in your area.
How do I shop for a business?
To get access to business account features simply select ‘I'm signing up on behalf of a business’ when you sign up. If you have already signed up you can choose this option in your account settings.
How do I get free delivery?
If it’s your first order and you’re spending over $100 excluding tobacco products, you will automatically get your delivery fee removed when you check out.* If you have any questions about your order please contact us.
Free delivery is also available every day if you spend over $150 excluding tobacco and select one of the 8 hour Flexi-Free delivery times.*
*Free delivery is not available to remote orders.
How do I use a promotion code?
Just before finalising your order you can add a promo code via the ‘Add a promo code’ button.
Some promotions are automatically applied at checkout such as the free delivery on your first shop offer. If you have met the conditions of the offer you will see a message confirming this above the ‘Add a promo code’ button and before being asked to finalise your order.
Where do I find a credit that’s been applied to my account?
When you are finalising your order you will be given the option to use any credit coupons applied to your account, on the current order.
How do I modify, cancel or track my order?
All past and placed orders can be accessed from the 'Past Orders' menu. In this section you can review, modify, track or cancel orders. You can also re-order items from previous orders.
Where do I add my flybuys number?
If your flybuys number is not yet associated with your account, you can either add it via the account section of the menu or during checkout.
I’m a Coles team member, where do I add my team member number?
You can enter this in the account section of the menu under mycoles number.
How do I create a list?
If you're used to our old website, the ‘My Usuals’ list has now become the ‘Bought Before’ tab. You can search this list or refine results by category, or do both at the same time! You can still create custom lists via the account menu. Add any item to a custom list using the dropdown menu on the product tile when you're logged in. You can also remove items from lists or from the Bought Before tab using the same dropdown.
How can I recycle my soft plastics with Coles online?
You can bundle up soft plastics and return them to your friendly Customer Service Agent that next delivers your order. Your Customer Service Agent will return the soft plastics back to the Coles supermarket REDcycle drop off point. Alternatively, you are welcome to drop off soft plastics to your Coles REDcycle drop off point. Find your nearest drop off point here.
The REDcycle Program is a supermarket-based recycling program that invites consumers to gather together all their empty bread, cereal and frozen food bags, plastic and reusable shopping bags and other soft plastic packaging and take them to their nearest Coles drop off point. The collected material is then delivered to our manufacturing partner Replas to be turned into outdoor furniture for Aussie primary schools and pre-schools. In 2017, our customers returned more than 500 tonnes of plastic to our stores to be recycled. Please make sure your soft plastics are dry and as empty as possible.
